I believe that you are eager and impatient to find something useful from HR.my. However, it is vital to invest some time before you can be really super productive, as you will first need to learn and eventually master all the nitty-gritty of a comprehensive HR Management system.
To kick start your productive journey with HR.my:
-
You are strongly recommended to visit the existing user guide at Online HR Software :: Get Started with My HR Employee Management Software to understand the concept behind each module, such as Leave Management, Expense Claim etc. This will give you an overall and complete picture of how you should customise HR.my to meet your existing workflow.
-
From time to time, I will also add some new user guide here: User Guide - HR.my Community
-
After going through the user guide, you should have possessed enough knowledge on how each module works, and it’s a good time to start experimenting with some test data with the system. This process will allow you to:
- learn how to apply the knowledge learnt from the user guides
- customise the options available on HR.my to meet your requirements
- familiarise yourself with the user interface
-
If you have completed the above and still encounter problems at this stage, you may search the forum to see if there are similar questions posted before, chances are your doubt may have been answered already.
-
If you can’t find posts related to your issue, you may start a new topic. Before you start a new topic:
- please make sure that you are not repeating an existing topic (see point #4)
- please understand that user training is beyond my support scope
- please note that as most of my time is dedicated to developing HR.my and preparing the online user guide, I may not be able to respond in a timely manner. That’s why reading the user guides before posting your question is usually the quickest way to find the solution to your problem
-
I will check the forum whenever time allows. Due to time constraint, I usually answer questions in the following sequence:
- issues not documented in the user guide
- rare and special use cases, such as additional functionality may be needed in order to support such use cases
- request or feedback for new features
- user training questions, such as how to perform certain tasks, where to find certain button etc. (most of the time these questions can easily find solutions from point #1, #2, #3 and #4. I will only be able to answer this kind of questions if I have sufficient free time, otherwise I will leave such questions to the community to assist)
-
If your post is not answered in time, it is very likely that:
- the solution is already in the user guide (all user guides are prepared by me)
- the solution is already given in some related posts (all tricky posts are answered by me)
- I am just too busy
