The Nightmare of Combining Attendance Reports

Dear HR.my Team,

We would like to request a new feature to generate a combined attendance report that merges both:

  • Time Clock records

  • Field Check records

Currently, the system generates two completely separate reports with different formats and column arrangements, which creates major operational difficulties when preparing monthly attendance and payroll reports.

At the moment, we are forced to:

  • Download two separate sheets

  • Reorganize columns manually

  • Match employee records manually

  • Calculate attendance, absence, and working hours manually

  • Track employee movement between office and field locations manually

This process becomes extremely time-consuming and difficult, especially for companies managing multiple sites and field employees.

A combined report would greatly improve:

  • Attendance tracking

  • Absence calculation

  • Working hours calculation

  • Payroll preparation

  • Location tracking for field employees

Ideally, the report should clearly show:

  • Employee attendance status

  • Check-in / Check-out times

  • Field locations

  • Total working hours

  • Movement between sites during the same day

Currently, preparing attendance and payroll reports every month is very complicated due to the separation between Time Clock and Field Check reports.

Adding a unified report feature would save significant time, reduce manual errors, and make the system much more practical for HR and operations teams.

We highly appreciate your consideration and hope this feature can be added in future updates.
