At present, the document approval workflow allows only two options: Approve or Reject. Once a document is rejected, the employee is required to make corrections and resubmit it as a new entry. This process causes a break in the submission trail and makes it difficult to maintain proper follow-up.
To improve the workflow, I suggest incorporating a Review option, where the approver can return the document with comments or suggestions. This would enable the employee to make the necessary corrections and resubmit the document within the same submission thread, ensuring continuity and easier tracking.
Kindly consider this for implementation.
