Email address already in record

Hi, we have a problem. We created HR.my account for staff using an email address. Now that the staff has resigned we deleted the account. We wanted to create a new HR.my account for a new staff member uses the same email address but it shows “invalid the email is already registered.”

Do we need to use a new email address every time a new staff joins?

  1. Short answer, YES.

  2. Long answer, in your case, if you DELETED the original employee record, then you may RE-USE. But you will need to reset the employee account’s password, otherwise you won’t be able to invite the same email address to sign up for the SAME EMPLOYER again. So the key is DELETE the original employee record.
