I encountered “Duplicate Key Fields” error when creating an employee.
Issue: Old employee record was deleted, but system still detects duplicate NRIC.
Kindly assist to reactivate, merge or remove the duplicate key so I can proceed.

Hi,
If you encounter “Duplicate Key Fields” error when creating an employee due to duplicate NRIC, that means the employee is not DELETED, but he/she is ARCHIVED.
You should reuse the archived record instead of creating a new one.
Go to Employee→Employment Terms, then Search for “Archived” status in Job Status. When you find the employee, add a new record to re-hire the employee.
