Clock Out issue

We have an Issue as below while Clock Out;

  • The from 6 PM to 6 AM (Part time).

  • The clock-in time is 1:00 AM and Clock-out at 5:00 AM.

  • Again, for next day, the Clock-In is 10:00 PM and trying to Clock-out at 2:00 AM.

  • But, there is no Clock-out button showing. It is asking to Clock-In only.

    While, clocking out at HR level, it gives error as:
    ’The attendance duration must be less than 24 hours.’

    How to resolve this issue? Please advise.

I don’t understand why your workday could exceed 24 hours in this case.

You first clock-in is at 1:00 AM, last clock-out is 2:00AM next day, it’s already 25 hours, how do you calculate your payroll then for 25-hour workdays?

  • The shift is from 6 PM to 6 AM (overnight-part-time: the user can login anytime between these hours.
  • For eg: for 20th July attendance, he Clock-In at 1:00 AM (21st July) and Clock-out at 5:00 AM (21st July). As per his work shift, he completes this attendance for 20th July.
  • For 21st July attendance, he login at 10:00 PM (21st July) and trying to login at 2:00 AM (22nd July), but not been able to Clock-out.
  • In this case, how should he get Clock-out for 21 July attendance as system shows Clock-In for that day?

Please advise the solution for this for Clock-Out.
