Can the system automatically deduct daily pay for absences?

If an employee is marked as absent or when they work less than the hours indicated in ‘Mark shortage as Undertime, when work duration is less than’ can pay be automatically deducted?

full day for absent and half day for hours absent which are marked as shortage undertime?

This is not supported yet, but it’s already a planned feature that I would like to implement at a later stage.
