Can lateness or absence be automatically deducted from leave or salary?

Hello,
Is it possible in the attendance and time tracking system to automatically deduct morning lateness, absence, or early departure from the employee’s available leave balance?
And if there is not enough leave balance, can the system either deduct it from the salary or handle it according to the company’s policy (for example, deduct from salary instead of leave)?
